Standards and Certificates
This product complies with the European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and can be supplied with a certificate EN 10204 3.1, if a certificate is required please specify when ordering.
Sizes and pipe connections
Available in ½" LC, ¾" LC, 1" LC, ½", ¾", and 1" diameters with socket weld connections to ANSI B16.11 Sch 80/BS3799 Class 3000 Ib.
Optional accessories
- heat shield: It prevents the trap from losing too much heat and operating too frequently due to exposure to low temperatures or the elements.
- Integral Drain Valve: Filter cover can be drilled and tapped 3/8" BSP or NPT for installation of drain valve BDV1 or BDV2.
Scope of work and constraints
The product has a prohibited use area. Prolonged application above 425°C may result in the conversion of the steel's carbon phase compounds to graphite, and prolonged use above this temperature is permitted but not recommended.
