Description
Spirax Sarco SRV66 Sanitary Pressure Reducing Valve is an angle connection, self-draining sanitary pressure reducing valve constructed of 316 stainless steel for use with steam, water, and chemically non-reactive gases. It is available with an ASME BPE sanitary clamp connection or with an ISO 2852 sanitary clamp. Stainless steel seals are standard, but models with FEPM soft seals are also available. No external pressure sensing tubing is required and Clean-in-Place (CIP) capability is available. Typical applications include clean steam, gas and liquid supplies to bioreactors, centrifuges, sterilizers, autoclaves, process tanks and clean equipment.
Valve Seal
Valve sealing class better than VD1/VDE 2174 (leakage rate < 0.5%Kv).
Standard surface polishing and cleaning
Media contact surfaces - (Ra<3.2 \mu m) ultrasonic cleaning. The following options are available on request and at a cost:
- Media contact surfaces machined to 0.8µm, mechanically polished, blow-dried and ultrasonically cleaned with demineralized water
- Media contact surface machined to 0.8µm, electrolytically polished
- Media contact surfaces machined to 0.4µm, electrolytically polished
- skim (milk)

DN15, DN20, DN25, DN32 (ISO 2852 clamps only), DN40,DN50 ASME BPE or ISO 2852 sanitary clamp connections.

Kv value
For maximum control accuracy (especially for large load variations), use the KV value at 20% deviation. Use the maximum KV value for safety valve selection.

The SRV66 should be mounted so that the inlet is vertical and the spring chamber is up.
