Security information, installation and maintenance

WARNING: Condensate from certain applications can have a dissolving effect on sight glass, especially if the water contains corrosive alkaline and acidic substances. Therefore, it is recommended that the sight glass be inspected periodically. In case of thinning, the glass should be replaced immediately. When viewing, take care to wear safety goggles to protect your eyes. Measures should be taken to ensure that in the event of failure of the viewing glass, the broken glass will not cause injury to personnel and equipment.
Installation and Maintenance: Stop valves should be installed in front of and behind the sight glass, and the upstream stop valve should be closed first to prevent pressure overload. The sight glass can be installed horizontally or vertically downstream of the trap. When installed behind a spray-type trap (e.g., a thermodynamic trap), the distance should be at least 1 meter, which ensures that the glass of the sight glass is protected from thermal and pressure shocks. Ensure that there is sufficient access space.
Disposal: This product can be recycled and does not cause environmental problems when disposed of properly.
