Spirax Sarco LP10-4 Liquid Level Sensor

Description

The Spirax Sarco LP10-4 Liquid Level Controller is used in conjunction with the Spirax Sarco LC1350 Liquid Level Controller for on/off level control and alarming of steam boilers, tanks, or other vessels. 4-probe sensors are suitable for use where a 3-lamp "electronic display" level/alarm indicator is installed. The body of the sensor is grounded through a threaded connection, and when used in concrete or plastic tanks, a probe can be grounded or a separate ground rod or plate can be supplied.The 4 probes are removable and can be cut to the required length prior to installation (the probes must be ordered separately), and are immersed in a conductive liquid to form an electrical circuit loop, which will signal to the controller when the level is lower than the probes and the resistance is increased.

WARNING: If this product is exposed to excessive heat, the plastic contained in its material will emit toxic gases.
INSTALLATION: LP10-4 is designed to be installed on a BSPRP1 (1" BSP tapered) or 1" NPT screwed flange or cover plate, the thread specification must be specified at the time of installation. For installation in boilers or tanks where there is a strongly disturbed condition, it is recommended to use a protection pipe with a minimum nominal bore diameter of 80mm. Installation outdoors should be weatherproof.
Connection: The connection of the LP10-4 is simple and straightforward, the connectors can be supplied as spare parts, the terminals are marked in different colors for easy differentiation, and the disconnection can be done by opening the wire unit without removing the cable gland.
MAINTENANCE: Although the boiler water level control needs to be tested regularly, this product requires no special maintenance.
