Description
Spirax Sarco FT43 cast iron float steam traps (DN80 and DN100) with built-in automatic air venting device are available for horizontal mounting with flange connection only. A 3/8" BSP or NPT threaded hole can be drilled in the bonnet for installation of a venting valve if required.
Standards and Certificates
This product complies with the European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and can carry the CE marking if required. EN 10204 2.2 certificates are available, please specify when ordering if certificates are required.

Discharge shown is based on condensate discharge at saturation temperature, and the evacuation valve unit increases condensate discharge when supercooled water is discharged. In the start-up condition, the thermostatic air venting valve device opens to increase the condensate discharge.

Security information, installation and maintenance
Refer to the Installation and Maintenance Guide (IM-S02-30) supplied with the product for detailed information. Install in the flow direction shown on the valve body, making sure the float arm is positioned horizontally to ensure that the float is free to rise and fall vertically.
