Spirax Sarco FT43-10 Cast Iron Ball Float Steam Trap DN25/DN40/DN50

Description

Spirax Sarco FT43 cast iron float steam traps DN25 - DN50, stainless steel internals, built-in automatic air venting, horizontal mounting (vertical mounting FT43V available), flange connection. In-line maintenance is possible without disassembling piping. A manually adjustable needle valve (model FT43 - C) is also available for breaking steam vapor lock. BSP or NPT threaded holes can be drilled in the bonnet as required for installation of a vent valve. With the BP99/32 liquid bladder, it can be applied to superheated steam with superheat levels of 150°C @ 0 bar g and 50°C @ 32 bar g.

In addition to an air vent, this model is also available with a steam lock rupture device (SLR), with the model name followed by the letter C. A 3/8" SP or 3/8" PT threaded hole can be drilled in the top (bottom) of the cover for installation of a counterbalance pipe (drain valve).

Sizes and pipe connections

There are three caliber of DN25, DN40 and DN50. When connected horizontally, facing the valve body, the flow direction is from left to right for DN25, and from right to left for DN40 and DN50; when connected vertically, the flow direction is from top to bottom only. Standard flanges are EN 1092 PN16 with flange end dimensions according to EN 26554 (series 1). Flanges JIS/KS 10 and ANSI B 16.5 class 125 flanges are available on request, ANSI/JIS/KS flanges with threaded holes for easy installation of flange bolts, ANSI flanges with UNC threaded bolt holes and JIS/KS flanges with metric threaded bolt holes.
