Description

Spirax Sarco FT14 and FT14HC cast iron float traps with all stainless steel internals and built-in automatic air venting valve/device. Horizontal mounting, threaded connections, in-line serviceability, flow direction indicated by valve body.

In addition to the air venting valve, this model of FT14-C trap is equipped with a steam lock release device (SLR) to prevent steam lock in the system. The model designation is followed by the letter "C". If desired, 3/8" BSP or NPT threaded holes can be drilled in the top or bottom of the cover for installation of a bleeder valve or counterbalance pipe.

Installation Tips: Install the valve as indicated by the flow direction arrow on the valve body, noting that the float arm is in a horizontal position to ensure that it can be raised and lowered vertically.
