Spirax Sarco Fig 12 SG Iron Strainer

Description

Spirax Sarco Fig12 Ductile Iron Strainer, ductile iron with threaded connection. Standard stainless steel strainer with 0.8mm pore size, other pore sizes and mesh sizes as well as alloy strainer are available. The filter bonnet can be drilled with threaded holes for connecting a drain or discharge valve as required.

Security information, installation and maintenance

Refer to the Installation and Maintenance Guide (IMS60-17) supplied with the product for detailed information.

• warnings: There is a thin stainless steel support ring in the gasket of the filter cover, remove it carefully.
• mounting: The filter should be installed horizontally in the direction of flow on the housing. When applied to horizontal piping for steam or gas, the filter body should be kept in a horizontal plane, while in liquid systems, the valve body should be in a vertical downward position. To facilitate maintenance and replacement, suitable shut-off valves should be installed upstream and downstream of the filter. Before installation, remove all protective parts, slowly open the shut-off valve until it reaches the normal working condition and check for leakage.
• protect and maintain: The filter can be serviced directly on the pipeline if safety procedures are observed. When servicing, it is recommended to use new gaskets and spare parts.
• take care of: This product is recyclable and does not harm the environment when disposed of properly.
