Spirax Sarco DP163/DP163G/DP163Y Stainless Steel Body Pilot Type Pressure Reducing Valves

Description

Spirax Sarco DP163, DP163G and DP163Y are stainless steel body pilot-type diaphragm pressure reducing valves. DP163 is for use in steam systems; DP163G with soft seal is for use with compressed air and other industrial gases (not recommended for use with oxygen); and DP163Y with low-pressure control spring is for sterilizing/ disinfecting. The products are fully compliant with the European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC, with CE marking if required, and with the manufacturer's typical test certificate EN 10204 3.1 as standard, with the required certificates and test requirements to be specified when placing the order.

Sizes and pipe connections

Bore sizes are available in DN15LC - low displacement models, DN15, DN20, DN25, DN32, DN40, DN50 and DN80.Standard flanges include EN 1092 PN25 and PN40, BS 10 Table 'J' and ANSI 300, and ANSI 150 and JIS 20 models are also available.

Security information, installation and maintenance

For detailed information, refer to the Installation and Maintenance Guide (IM - P006 - 07) supplied with the product. It is necessary to install the valve in the horizontal piping according to the arrow of the flow direction of the valve, and to install a separator and a filter upstream to protect the pressure reducing valve.
