Description

Spirax Sarco BTM7 Clean Thermostatic Steam Traps in Stainless Steel are serviceable thermostatic steam traps designed to remove condensate from clean steam systems for use in sterilizers, process vessels, and CIP/SIP systems. The body is made of 316L stainless steel with a high internal surface finish, typically polished to 1.6~3.2 Ra. Self-discharging design traps water at near saturation temperatures, and the traps are individually packaged with a protective cover and sealed in a plastic bag.

Security information, installation and maintenance

Installation Tip:
The product is designed to be installed on vertical piping with the flow directed downward to ensure free discharge of condensate. Do not expose the thermostatic element to excessive heat as this may damage the element. Suitable shut-off valves should be installed before and after the trap to ensure safety during maintenance and replacement.
