Spirax Sarco CS10-1 Stainless Steel Clean Vapor Separator

Description

Even for the cleanest, best-designed clean steam systems, there is still the possibility of water in the steam, which can lead to low steam dryness values, failure to meet sterilization requirements, damage to control valves/instrumentation, and consequent loss of system efficiency. The Spirax Sarco CS10-1 Stainless Steel Clean Separator is designed to remove droplets from clean and pure steam systems in full compliance with ASME BPE. It is also designed with removable baffles that can be fully inspected prior to installation for in-system inspection.

Standard Finishes

Designed to comply with ASME BPE - 2005. fully compliant with the European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC. gaskets meet FDA regulation 21, section 177, part 2600. 1/2", 3/4" and 1" meet USP VI requirements.

Products are packaged in a clean environment and isolated from other non-stainless steel products while meeting ASM EBPE requirements for protection and cleanliness. The inlet and outlet ports are covered with protective caps, which are then sealed in a plastic bag.

Dimensions and pipe connections

Note: For sanitary clamp connections, the maximum pressure/temperature is determined by the gasket and clamp used. Please consult Spirax Sarco.

Steam inlet/outlet piping	1/2", 3/4", 1", 1 1/2" and 2" sanitary clamps meet the requirements of ASME BPE (Tri-clamp) or DIN 32676. Extension welded tubing (ETO) meets the requirements of ASME BPE or DIN 11850.

Installation Notes

Install on horizontal piping. Check the direction of the arrow to ensure proper installation.
NOTE: The valve body and internal surfaces must be handled carefully to ensure that the surfaces are not damaged.
