Spirax Sarco AVM7 Clean Steam System Air Vent Valve

Description

The Spirax Sarco AVM7 Clean Steam System Venting Valve is a serviceable steam system venting valve designed to remove air and other non-condensable gases from clean steam systems. Operating at close to steam temperature, they are made of 316L stainless steel with an internal surface finish of approximately Ra1.6 - 3.2. The product is individually sealed in a plastic bag with a protective cover, and a wide range of connection options are available to suit most piping connections.

The AVM7 is designed to comply with ASME BPE and also with the European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC. Part 3 "O" ring complies with FDA CFR title 21, Paragraph 177 section 2600 and USP Class VI. This product can be supplied with a material certificate EN This product can be supplied with EN 10204 3.1 material certificate (if required, specify when ordering).

Installation Tips: Product designed to be installed in vertical piping with flow directed upward to ensure self-draining; do not expose thermostatic components to overheating conditions; shut-off valves are required upstream and downstream for maintenance and replacement.
