Description

Spirax Sarco BPT13 Brass Pressure Balance Thermostatic Steam Traps are serviceable pressure balance steam traps with brass bodies. The standard product is the BPT13A with an angle connection, and there are a variety of other models available, as listed below:

The bladder types are divided into: standard bladder 'STD' type, hydrophobic at 12°C below saturated steam temperature; optional 'NTS' type, hydrophobic at 4°C below saturated steam temperature; 'SUB Model 'NTS', hydrophobic at 24°C below saturated steam temperature. Specify bladder type when ordering.
Bore sizes are 3/8", ½" and ¾", Screwed to BSP (BS 21) or NPT.

SAFETY INFORMATION, INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE: For detailed information, refer to the Installation and Maintenance Guide (IM-P122-02) supplied with the product. Installation should be done with the liquid bladder in a horizontal position, the bonnet at the top, and preferably with a section of cold pipe in front of the trap.

Ordering instructions: e.g. 1 - Spirax Sarco ½" BPT13AX pressure-balanced steam trap, threaded BSP, brass body with built-in strainer, STD-type liquid bladder, traps water at 12°C below saturated steam temperature.
