Description

The Spirax Sarco SX90 Process Controller is a 1/8 DIN panel mounted controller for constant set point control with fixed preset fixed point systems. The controller has a wide range of inputs and outputs to control industrial processes using PID, and can be used with Spirax Sarco's pneumatically operated motorized control valves, electronic and electrical equipment.

specificities

  • General purpose inputs: RTD, thermocouple, mA and mV.
  • General purpose outputs: VMD (valve motor drive), continuous mA and voltage, relays for on/off control, and logic signals.
  • Auxiliary power supply: for external transmitters requiring 24VDC.
  • Setpoints: can be set locally, remotely, or selected from 4 setpoints.
  • Slope: The rate of change from one setpoint to another with two separate slopes (slope up or slope down).
  • Remote Setpoint: For serial control (master/slave) of two controllers, or remote setpoint control.
  • Retransmission function: for retransmission of the process value or setpoint, or as a second analog output.
  • Event alarms: 4 programmed relay outputs for deviation, zone and process value alarms.
  • Quick Code: With a 5-digit quick code, the controller can be easily installed and debugged.
  • Serial communication: Up to 64 controllers can be connected to the management system through the serial port RS485 (5 wires).
  • Auto/Manual: Automatic mode and manual mode can be switched via keypad or logic input.
  • Logic Inputs: 3 logic inputs provide a variety of selection functions.
  • Potentiometer input: for feedback of valve position.
  • Text message: can be set to scroll text message, can remind the user of the process status.
  • Forced Output: The forced output level is determined by the instrument parameters and can be activated by a logic input or by writing a parameter.

accreditation
